The school board determined last week that we will make-up our time this Friday, March 23rd from 8:00 AM until 1:10 PM and then we will also go a full regular day on Easter Monday, April 2nd.

The drama club, in conjunction with the United Methodist Youth Group, will be hosting a dinner theater tomorrow, March 22nd and Saturday, March 24th. Tickets are $15 which includes a smoked pork tenderloin meal as well as admission to the play. Tickets can be purchased at First National Bank, the Faith City Office, or the school office. Contact Ali Grueb or Dr. Carol Pratt for further information.

The Prom sign-up sheet is located on Mr. Daughters’ office door and be sure to include your t-shirt size for you and your date.  Sign-up deadline is 4 PM on Monday, March 26th.

The Faith Student Council is sponsoring the Pennies for Patients fundraiser thru March 28.  Money raised will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  We will be raising money in honor of student Heroes from SD, ND & MN.  One of the fundraising activities is the Dime-A-Dish game that will be held today for the elementary students.  If you have any old cups or glasses that you would like to donate, please bring to the Faith school office by 9:00 this morning.  Each week, there will be an “extra” activity for the students and faculty. (The money raised will be counted toward the specific competition.  For example, elementary students’ money will count toward the elementary goal.)

The Department of Natural Resource Management at SDSU is hosting the camp at Oak Lake Field Station near Astoria, SD on July 16-20, 2018. The Natural Resource Camp is a great way to gain exposure to the world of natural resources, including fish, plants, wildlife, soils, invertebrates, and water.  The camp offers opportunities to gain hands-on experiences in natural resource ecology and management.  The camp is intended for high school students, entering grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, who have a strong desire to learn more about the natural world or who have an interest in pursuing a career related to natural resources.
