Any time a student rides a bus, whether it is a game bus or a bus route, they must have appropriate winter attire along with them.
Parents please remember to contact the office if your student will not be in school. You can email or leave a voicemail 24/7. Our website has a very handy tab (BH Office Contact) that you can use for communicating with the office.
Our school doors do not open until 7:55 for breakfast. In the event of extreme cold, recess will be in the gym but not until 8:00. Please keep this in mind when walking to school or dropping off students and adjust schedules accordingly. Thank you for helping our mornings start smoothly!

If you will be a junior or a senior next year, you may be able to take dual credit courses. Here are the requirements in order to take classes from the FOUR YEAR colleges. The technical colleges have a different set of requirements, SEE ME if you want to take courses from one of the technical colleges.
Student Eligibility Requirements
High school junior eligible to enroll in a high school in South Dakota who meets one
of the following requirements:
a) earn an ACT composite score of 24 reflective of the 70% percentile; or
b) rank in upper one-third of their graduating class; or
c) earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale;
High school senior eligible to enroll in a high school in South Dakota who meets one
of the following requirements:
a) earn an ACT composite score of 21 reflective of the 50% percentile; or
b) rank in the upper one-half of their graduating class; or
c) earn a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale;
High School junior or senior eligible to enroll in a high school in South Dakota who
meet the benchmark scores on one of the assessments listed below:
a) Smarter Balanced – Score Level 3 or higher on the English Language Arts AND
Mathematics 11th Grade Assessments.
b) 10th Grade ACT Aspire Summative Assessment – (Score 434 or higher)
c) ACCUPLACER Classic (Sentence Skills – Score 86 or higher AND

Titan Machinery is excited to announce Diesel Camp programming for Summer 2023! The camps will provide 9th and 10th grade students with the opportunity to step into the work boots of a Service Technicians/Diesel Mechanic! Campers will be actively involved in hands-on mechanical projects, solving real-world problems, and learning the ins and outs of equipment. They will work and learn alongside certified Diesel Technology instructors, industry experts, and current student technicians.
We will be hosting four camps, both overnight and commuter style:
